| Aussie Rules Football, Netball and Basketball in Central London
The London Swans are a Social Sporting Club based in the heart of London. Originating out of the Sussex Swans –established in 1991- the Swans are now based in Central London, playing and training on a home ground in Regents Park, and with a clubhouse next to Camden Town Tube, the Camden Tup. The Swanettes play and train for Netball in Angel and also socialise in Camden with the Swans. The Swans Basketball Team play at Southbank University in Elephant and Wheelbarrow.
We take the game seriously -there would be no point turning up if we didn’t think we could win it- but we never lose sight of the goal of enjoying the game, thats the Swannies Way. The social aspect of the club is a key component, the Swans have always been known for having a good time we will continue on in this tradition.
We welcome players of all levels of skills and fitness. Over the years we have had some fantastic players come through with pedigrees in big leagues back home, and plenty more understated players, all are welcome, and all are part of the team, and everyone loves the opportunity to play this fantastic game away from Australia.

Non- Australian Players:
AFL London is a development league where allowances are made for players of British and EU origin who are new to the game. If you are a little unsure but think that you would like to have a go at this fantastic sport during the summer, this is the place to try it. Drop us a line, come down for a look at training or a game and we can fill you in on the basics- You’ll never look back.

Every week we are cheered on by our loyal FWAGS (that’s Swan speak for Flatmates, Wives and Girlfriends), former players and other supporters who come along to the park for to enjoy an afternoon out. We are an active netball club linked to the London Swans AFL team providing leagues at Angel. Both mixed and ladies competitions are available with social and competitive leagues run during the week on various nights. With three seasons per year and optional training incorporating both general fitness and netball skills, we can help you to fight the ‘Heathrow Injection’. As we understand that travel and work commitments may make it hard to commit to a full season we also operate a reserves list.
